If you have and oil system, please make sure you have 6" of fuel in your oil system before you call to schedule an appointment.

SO WHAT EXACTLY IS DONE ON A PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE?
This depends on what time of year it is and what kind of equipment you have. Below are items your technician will monitor, some conditional to your equipment - oil, gas, steam, electric, etc.
Clean and adjust burner assembly
Clean blower assembly
Inspect heat exchanger for cracks
Tighten electrical connections
Lubricate moving parts
Measure volts/amps on motors
Test starting capabilities
Test safety controls
Monitor flue draft
Clean condensate drains
Wash filter or replace up to 2 standard size (1") pleated filters per visit (2"-5" filers are sold separately)
Clean accessible evaporator coil (additional charges may apply)
Clean condenser coil (additional charges may apply)
Measure temperature variance
Monitor refrigerant pressures
Check thermostat operation
Inspect air duct systems
Document any deficiencies
